Sono davvero molti gli appuntamenti da non perdere a Vicenza. Per citarne solo una piccolissima parte ricordiamo, da aprile a giugno, "Il Suono dell'Olimpico", nella prestigiosa cornice del Teatro omonimo. Nei mesi di giugno, luglio e agosto è possibile assistere ai "Concerti in villa", ospitati nelle suggestive atmosfere delle ville vicentine. A fine agosto la città si anima con la manifestazione "Luci e suoni sotto le mura", che attira ogni anno numerosissimi spettatori. Settembre è il mese di "Notte di Musica e Magia", originale spettacolo che richiama grandi e piccini sotto i Portici di Monte Berico e sul Piazzale della Vittoria, dal quale si può ammirare il panorama cittadino. In provincia, Bassano del Grappa propone "Opera Estate Festival", un intenso programma con rassegne dedicate alla danza, al teatro, alla musica classica, al jazz e al grande cinema. Imperdibile a Marostica, con cadenza biennale, negli anni pari, la celebre "Partita a Scacchi".

In the province, Bassano del Grappa holds the "Opera Summer Festival", with a rich programme full of events dedicated to dance, theatre plays, classical music, jazz and great cinema. In Marostica, the famous "Chess Game", that takes place every two years, in the even years, is a real must.
