Uno dei monumenti più significativi dell’arte paleocristiana italiana. Iniziata nel 313 sull’area di una necropoli, fu ingrandita e divisa successivamente in tre navate. Grande ed antica testimonianza con il sacello martiriale, tracce di affreschi del V secolo e mosaici pavimentali del IV e l’altare, ricavato da un sarcofago romano.


The Church of Saints Felice and Fortunato
One of the most significant examples of paleochristian art in Italy, the Church of Saints Felice and Fortunato was began in 313 in the area of a necropolis, and was enlarged and successively divided into a nave and two side aisles, with bears traces of frescoes from the V century and paleochristian mosaic pavements from the IV century. The altar was obtained from a Roman sarcophagus.
