Eretta nel XIV secolo. Fu eretta dagli Agostiniani prima e dai Canonici di S. Giorgio in Alga poi. L’edificio sacro conserva sulla navata il ciclo di affreschi trecenteschi più importante della città della scuola veneta ed emiliana del ‘300.


The Abacy of S. Agostino
Built in the XIV century with Roman forms, it was completed with gothic forms in the part of the apsis. It was built by the Agostinian monks and completed by the Canonical monks of S. Giorgio in Alga. The building contains the city’s most precious cycle of frescoes from the XIV century of the Venetan and Emilian schools of the time; on the altar there is a polyptych dating 1404, by Battista da Vicenza.
