L’Altopiano si presenta ogni anno con un ricco calendario di appuntamenti: spettacoli, concerti, mostre ed esposizioni, incontri con grandi personaggi, premi, concorsi; ed ancora, conferenze con registi, scrittori e scienziati; trasmissioni televisive; dibattiti sui più importanti temi di attualità. Il “Premio Internazionale Asiago d’Arte Filatelica” è una delle manifestazioni più prestigiose, considerato l’Oscar Mondiale della Filatelia, il Concorso Estemporaneo Internazionale di Scultura in Legno. Tra gli appuntamenti sportivi di primo piano si ricorda la “Gara di Coppa del Mondo di Sci di Fondo” al Golf Arena.

CULTURAL EVENTS ON THE PLATEAU
The plateau presents a rich calendar of cultural appointments each year, with shows, concerts, exhibits and meetings with important personalities, awards, contests, conferences with film producers, writers and scientists, televised events, debates on the most important current event themes. The International Philatelic Prize of Asiago is one of the most prestigious events that take place during the course of the year. It is considered the "Oscar" of the world of Philatelic. There is also the International Extemporaneous Wood Sculpture Contest. Among the sports appointments that take place, there is the "Marciabianca", which is the classical great cross-country skiing event that has taken place in Asiago for over thirty years now.


LA GRANDE ROGAZIONE DI ASIAGO
Si tiene ogni anno nel giorno che precede l’Ascensione. E’ anche chiamata “Il Giro del Mondo”. Camminando per un’intera giornata, dalle 6 alle 19, si percorre il perimetro del territorio parrocchiale (oltre 30 km.). Si tratta del ripetersi del rito antico delle peregrinazioni propiziatorie che chiedevano un buon raccolto. Dopo il 1638 è diventata segno di ringraziamento per essere scampati al flagello della peste.

THE GREAT TOUR OF ASIAGO
This event takes place every year on the day that precedes the Ascension. It is also called the "March Around the World". Walking for a full day, from 6 am to 7 pm, participants march around the parochial perimeter of Asiago (more than 30 km). It is the repetition of an ancient rite celebrating propitiatory wanderings to request a bountiful harvest. After 1638, it became a sign of thanksgiving for having escaped the scourge of the plague.


LE FESTE QUINQUENNALI DI FOZA
Sono i festeggiamenti votivi, quinquennali, con una serie di manifestazioni, in onore di Maria Assunta. La prima processione risale al 1837.
Tre giorni prima si fa scendere l’immagine della Madonna dalla sua nicchia per intronizzarla sulla carretta. Alla vigilia della festa (la domenica seguente al 15 agosto) la popolazione si raccoglie per la veglia notturna. All’aurora S. Messa e processione.

THE FIVE-YEAR FEAST OF FOZA
The Five-Year Feast is a celebration in which people make vows and honour Maria Assunta. The first procession dates back to 1837. Every five years since then, the people of Foza honour Mother Celeste with a series of events. Three days before the feast the image of the Virgin Mary is taken down from her niche and enthroned on a cart. On the eve of the feast (the first Sunday after the 15th of August) the population gathers in the main square and enters the Church for the evening wake. At sunrise Mass is held and there is a procession.

Con canti e letture nell’antico idioma viene celebrata nella chiesa di Mezzaselva il lunedì dell’Angelo.

HOLY MASS IN THE CYMBRIAN LANGUAGE
Beautiful songs and liturgy accompany the Mass in the ancient idiom, which is celebrated in the Church of Mezzaselva on Monday of the Angel.


FESTA DEL PRUNNO
Si tiene nel giorno di S. Rocco, 16 agosto, ed è dedicata ai turisti. Nel pomeriggio al Prunno, anfiteatro in mezzo al bosco, a 2 Km. da Asiago, si svolgono numerosi giochi. Elezione della “Reginetta del Bosco” e delle damigelle con caratteristica sfilata, per le vie del centro. In serata, grande spettacolo pirotecnico.

THE FEAST OF THE PRUNNO
This celebration is held on the day of Saint Rocco, on the 16th of August, and is dedicated to tourists.
On the afternoon of the celebration, in the green amphitheatre about two miles from Asiago, in the woods, numerous games are held. Towards evening there is the election of the "Queen of the Woods" and of her maidens in waiting. At dusk there is a characteristic procession through the streets of the centre of Asiago.


FESTA DELLA PATATA
Ogni prima domenica di settembre a Rotzo, con ricco contorno di manifestazioni culturali e musicali. E’ l’unica iniziativa che valorizza uno dei prodotti tipici della nostra terra. Un fornito stand gastronomico consente di assaggiare piatti a base di patate.

THE FEAST OF THE POTATO
Every first Sunday of September, in Rotzo, there is the Feast of the Potato, with lots of cultural and musical events. It is the only initiative that celebrates one of the typical products of our land. There is a well-supplied gastronomical stand, which allows everyone to taste the typical dishes based on potatoes.


FESTA DEI CUCHI
Il 25 aprile a Canove in onore di S. Marco (Patrono), detta anche “Sagra del fischietto popolare”. I Fischietti in terracotta si possono acquistare nelle numerose bancarelle. Presenti giostre e divertimenti.

THE FEAST OF THE WHISTLES
On the 25th of April in Canova, in honour of Saint Mark, the Feast of Whistles is held, also known as the "Feast of popular whistles". The traditional earthenware whistles are sold at numerous stands. There are usually amusement park rides and games during this feast.
